Overview
ELSA is recruiting a drilling supervisor on contract for offshore operations in Oman. The supervisor will run daily wellsite drilling activities safely and efficiently, oversee contractors and service companies, and report performance to the drilling superintendent.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily drilling operations in line with the approved drilling programme
- Oversee drilling contractors, service companies and third-party personnel
- Review daily drilling reports, service tickets and casing and cementing records
- Monitor wellsite costs and lead toolbox talks and HSE meetings
Requirements
- Degree in petroleum or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years as a senior drilling supervisor in deepwater offshore drilling
- Valid OPITO BOSIET and IWCF Level 4 certificates
- Strong knowledge of well construction, well control and offshore HSE systems
