Overview
SalamAir is hiring a Stores Controller in Muscat to control the receipt, storage, issue and movement of aircraft parts, tools and materials in its Technical Stores, in line with aviation regulations and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and record incoming aircraft parts, components and supplies with full traceability
- Segregate serviceable, unserviceable and quarantined materials correctly
- Issue materials and tools to Maintenance against approved work orders
- Run the tool control programme and toolbox checks before aircraft release
- Keep inventory records accurate and support stock counts
Requirements
- Diploma or high school certificate
- 3+ years' experience in materials & stores
- Aviation, logistics or inventory qualifications are an advantage
- Training in aircraft materials, tool control or aviation safety preferred
