Overview
AFS is looking for a payments specialist in Muscat to help merchants integrate with payment gateways and keep their transactions running smoothly. The role spans onboarding, API troubleshooting, go-live checks and ongoing production support.
Key responsibilities
- Support merchant integrations with MPGS, CyberSource and local gateways
- Handle merchant ID onboarding, payment methods and transaction routing
- Troubleshoot transaction failures, API errors and production incidents
- Validate integrations before go-live and provide post-launch support
- Support 3DS 2.x, tokenisation and digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Write integration guides and troubleshooting procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or engineering
- 2-5 years in payment gateway integration or payment technical support
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/XML and tools such as Postman
- Understanding of the card payment lifecycle and PCI DSS
- Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage
