Overview
SalamAir is hiring an engineer in Muscat to support the continued airworthiness and reliability of aircraft systems such as hydraulics, landing gear, fuel, flight controls and air conditioning.
Key responsibilities
- Review ADs, SBs, modifications and reliability issues for assigned aircraft systems
- Provide engineering support for system malfunctions and component reliability
- Lead root-cause investigations of system issues
- Develop maintenance programmes in line with manufacturer and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers on parts and technical support
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 3–5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance
- Strong experience in aircraft inspection, repair and modification
