Overview
OQ Base Industries is hiring an electrical maintenance specialist in Salalah to troubleshoot, maintain and improve high-voltage and plant electrical systems at its processing facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex electrical troubleshooting in line with OEM specifications
- Investigate recurring failures and develop mitigation and improvement plans
- Support commissioning of new projects and integration with existing systems
- Develop maintenance procedures and coordinate contractors and vendors
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- At least 5 years (bachelor's) or 7 years (diploma) of refinery or petrochemical electrical work
- Knowledge of IEC standards, hazardous area classification, HV switchgear, drives and UPS
- Familiarity with SAP PM and good English; Arabic is desirable
